Anyone who has been around me for more than a few minutes knows that I’m passionate about intellectual property rights.
Intellectual property or IP as most people call it, is the engine that drives creative businesses for songwriters like me and for loads of other industries including:
· any kind of artist –
· painters,
· sculptors,
· dancers,
· book writers,
· jewelry makers and
· musicians
Intellectual property rights also extend into pretty much any industry you can name including –
· teaching
· bio-technology,
· inventors,
· and any kind of brand
From the biggest companies in the world like Google to the smallest microbusiness like the humble jewelry maker or independent songwriter, intellectual property is the way to distinguish yourself and your work in the marketplace, and to build value into your artistic and scientific work.
I hope that you can tune in to watch the webinar for a panel discussion moderated by Jaci McDole, Senior Policy Analyst at ITIF including:
· Fabrice Guerrier, Founder and CEO of Syllble
· Jason Troutner, CTO of Teal Bio
· Ashley Baker, Director of Public Policy at Committee for Justice
· Amanda Colleen Williams, Owner of Songpreneurs, singer/songwriter
